For this purpose, the daily hailing data from 6 stations in East Azarbaijan province between 1987- 2006 years were collected. The results revealed that the highest amount of hailing happened in the south west of the province (marageh district), while the lowest was in the north west (jolfa district)and Poisson distribution shows that it best fitted the hail data on the study area.
