[English]

Urban seismic resilience, as a key concept in risk management and urban planning, has received increasing attention. Hazard, vulnerability, risk, and seismic resilience are interconnected concepts within the seismic risk analysis framework; therefore, they are examined as an integrated knowledge network in this study. The aim of this study is to identify knowledge production patterns, conceptual structure, scientific collaboration networks, and the literature on urban seismic resilience and seismic hazards during 2016–2025. This study employed a descriptive–analytical approach using bibliometric and knowledge network analyses. The dataset comprised 3,449 scientific documents indexed in Scopus, retrieved through searches in titles, abstracts, and keywords, with subject areas limited to Earth and Planetary Sciences, Social Sciences, and Engineering. The data were analyzed using VOSviewer through keyword co-occurrence, country co-authorship, and bibliographic coupling analyses. The results showed an increasing trend in scientific output, with documents rising from 165 in 2016 to 804 in 2025. In the conceptual structure, “urban resilience,” with 1,196 occurrences and a total link strength of 1,807, “seismic hazard,” with 245 occurrences, and “seismic vulnerability,” with 172 occurrences, were central concepts. China, with 596 documents, the United States with 494, Italy with 457, and Iran with 169 were among the most active countries. Bibliographic coupling analysis indicated that the theoretical foundations of this literature are mainly rooted in seismic hazard assessment and risk analysis. By mapping the structure and evolution of knowledge on urban seismic resilience, this study can support future research, urban planning, and risk management.
